Addverb Technology, a leading automation solutions provider for distribution and warehouses, announced the opening of a new Center of Excellence for Advanced Robotics Research and Development in California.
The new center will focus on developing platforms for autonomous mobile robotic and automated guide vehicles and advanced algorithms for human-machine partnerships and biomedical robotics.
The head of operations is Tapan Pattnayak, who was named as Director of System Architecture at Addverb in April 2022. Tapan Pattnayak said that this is an exciting time for the company as they continue to grow their presence in the United States and build on their strong foundation of innovative products and solutions.
He said the new advanced robotic research and development facility will enable them to serve their customers better in the United States, and continue to develop the next generation of robotic technologies.
The center will have a team of engineers focused on developing new cutting-edge technologies and products for the company’s portfolio. The center creates additional opportunities for Addverb to partner with the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), a leading global trade association for the automated manufacturing and robotics industries.
Tapan Pattnayak also said that they are looking forward to tapping into the vast talent pool of engineers and pioneers in the rapidly growing robotics community to contribute to their mission in the design and delivery of efficient, flexible, and innovative solutions for customers across industries.
