Samsung’s Technology to Power 5G Network of DISH Wireless in US

Samsung announced that, the technology of the company is going to be powering the 5G network of BISH Wireless in the United States and the networking arm of the company based in South Korea is going to be providing 5G O-RAN (Open Radio Access Network)-complaint vRAN solutions and the 5G radio units for the 5G network of the DISH Wireless across the United States.

The company ‘Samsung Networks’ is going to be offering the 5G and RAN solutions, along with the vRAN software and O-RAN-compatible Massive MIMO radio unites for the 5G network of DISH Wireless.

The radio of the company is going to be supporting the TDD and FDD spectrum brands, which has been including n29, n48, n66, n70, n71, and n77 vRAN units of Samsung has been offering the ability for using the off-the-shelf servers and it is still performing on the par along with the traditional equipment based on hardware.

Since the entire network is going to be based on the cloud-based architecture, the DISH Wireless can possibly use the multi-vendor hardware and the complete different types of deployment scenarios, and the network provider based in the United States has currently been testing its 5G network by using the Galaxy S22. The company is also planning to use the Samsung smartphones as a reference through the company’s network deployment process.
